How is Showbid Run?

Showbid is run like a traditional auction with the difference that you can only raise each auction by $0.01 at a time. For example, if the auction has a current highest bid of $0.04 it is only possible to raise to $0.05. Every Penny auction has a bid time. When a new bid is placed the bid time increases by 10 seconds in order to give other bidders an opportunity to place a new bid after yours. The person who raises the bad wins the auction if no new bids are placed before the bid time expires.
